Thank you for considering Baked by Shell for your custom cake or cupcake order. Please take a moment to review the policies before placing an order. These policies serve as the Terms of Service for all orders placed through this website. Submitting an order form indicates agreement with these policies.

Please complete the cake order form to receive a custom quote.
Allow up to 48 hours for a response.
For multiple orders, please submit a separate form for each order.
Quotes are based on design, size, servings, and level of detail.

A 50% deposit or full payment is required to secure your order. If paying in two parts, the remaining balance is due at least 7 days before your event.
Rush orders require full payment at the time of booking.
Orders are not confirmed until payment is received.
If full payment is not received in time for your order to be completed by the scheduled date, the order may be canceled. Deposits paid are subject to the cancellation policy.
Invoices and payment details will be sent after your quote is approved.

Orders canceled 7 or more days in advance will receive a full refund.
Orders canceled 5–7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.
Orders canceled within 5 days of the scheduled date are non-refundable.
Once work has begun, refunds may not be available.
In the unlikely event that I am unable to fulfill an order due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all payments made will be issued.

Please place orders at least 7 days in advance whenever possible.
Rush orders may be accepted based on availability.
Rush orders may have limited customization options and may be subject to an additional fee.

Custom cakes are made based on the inspiration photos and details provided.
While every effort is made to match designs closely, exact replicas cannot be guaranteed.
Artistic interpretation is part of the custom design process.

Pickup and delivery options will be discussed during the quoting process.
Delivery is available for an additional fee based on distance. Delivery pricing will be included in your custom quote.
In the event of severe weather that makes travel unsafe, delivery may need to be rescheduled or changed to pickup when possible. Every effort will be made to communicate updates as early as possible.
Once an order has been picked up or delivered, responsibility transfers to the client.
Please be available at the scheduled pickup or delivery time. If I arrive for a delivery and am unable to reach you, or if you arrive late for a scheduled pickup, I may need to leave and return later if my schedule allows. Additional fees may apply for return trips or extended wait times. Late pickups or delayed deliveries may also affect the quality of the order.

All products are made in a kitchen that may handle common allergens, including nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, and soy.
Allergy-friendly accommodations may be limited and cannot be guaranteed to be allergen-free.
